The upbringing of the greatest king Shaka Zulu
When King Shaka(Ilembe) came to Mthethwa tribe king Dingiswayo (Godongane) at Mbangweni in what is now called Mpangeni, he became very popular to the tribe and King Dingiswayo liked him because of his wisdom.
It is said that King Shaka was the wisest king ever lived and that is why he is so famous that he is not even mentioned in the Bible, just because King Dingiswayo saw enough of his wisdom and asked him to become the leader of an army(ibutho) called iZichwe. In his praises it is mentioned that he jumps other kings by his ingenuity (ILembe eleqa amanye amalembe ngokukhalipha).
iZichwe was an army led by Ilembe (Shaka) before he became a boy and he grew up from Mthethwa area under King Dingiswayo. He hurriedly fought against other armies and defeated them and defeated them very quickly.
Ilembe with his great ingenuity changed the way he fought and came up with his own which was a quick and amazing skill which is why he won all the battles he fought and formed the Zulu nation into a world famous leader and will never end much more because of his ingenuity.
That is why the saying came about (uthuli lweZichwe), which means (from the dust of iZichwe). It is similar to the scene when an army led by Ilembe(Shaka Zulu) iZichwe collided with other soldiers and threw them to the ground, leaving dust on the ground.
